I thought he was just suspended in thr A?  Did he already serve it or will he have to when he goes back?

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings today recalled center Kyle Criscuolo from the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins.

With the two moves today, I am going to wait until Blashill updates which is usually 5ish.

Maybe someone is ill, injured or in Covid protocol.

Wait and see mode.

It wouldn’t make a lot of sense to bring him up if he’d only play on the 4th line (which is where I’m assuming Criscuolo will play). In general, I like having Criscuolo get some NHL time at his age. And he played very well last week when he was up.

I’d still like to see Barber get some extended playing time in Detroit on at least the 3rd line. He’s a hard worker and he shoots (pretty accurately) from everywhere.

Nashville is a very physical team for what it’s worth.
Before they got a little healthier it seemed they just plugged
their lineup with a couple quasi-enforcer types.
They’re still as likely as anyone to take runs at guys and dress multiple
fighters. Last thing we need is an injury to a key player as games get harder
and team is beginning to look up (assume we’re a little past the “might as well
be bad by the end for a higher pick, again” gambit).

I’m thinking Berggren will get a 9 game callup late in the season, when we’ve made some deadline moves/have different guys out/can play line blender a little more. He seems to be in a rhythm in GR, so no reason to bring hip up to play 7 minutes on a makeshift 4th line.

Witter sounds like a nice add for a game against a physical team like NSH. It’ll be interesting to see if he sticks around for STL and COL on Thursday and Friday.
