Let's just get this out in the open. I don't discuss horrible losses. I don't think about them, read about them, certainly don't blog about them or acknowledge them in any way.

So don't expect a rehash of that. Ever.

Hell, I'd read a St. James annual hard hitter on "Thanksgiving traditions" before I scan a single sentence about the Wings' last game.

Edmonton's in town, 8 weeks after the Canadie(a)n experts fashtioned them a sexy pick.

Not anymore, boy. Nope.

The Edmonton Oilers were not remotely competitive in an 8-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues Tuesday, and the saddest part? They quit.

That’s right.

Quit.

That's sobbing Canandia(e)n apologist, Mark Spector, brought to you by the emperor this morning.

Not only did he accuse the Oil of quitting against the dainty Blues, he went all hard return on their asses. Stand alone.

"Quit".

Blah. What hockey team quits? Really. What writer can actually tell if a team "quits"? None. Dumbass. It's a young team figuring out how to play hockey in November. Dumbass.

So, they'll come out all flying and full of vinegar.

If the Wings win tonite, Kenny says they'll make the playoffs. Because Tick Tock always says that teams with a ticket on the all-important "American Thanksgiving" have a great shot of getting in, based on Kenny's metrics and addling powers of deduction.

It's a Live Blog, bitches. A live blog about 17 hours before the Lions "biggest game of the year." Shitttttttt.

LGRW and FKHOTAT (I'll help you...."on the American Thanksgiving").

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
