Reboot

Tonight's game is the first of a few late night games. Vancouver seems like a good place to reboot after the last game, so, let's forget about it just like the Wings will, and carry on with the rest of the season.

It"s a late night Live Blog!

Other than the top line, very little being created. I think AA is still getting into game shape because I don’t recall him having a single breakaway yet.

In Green’s defense, both calls looked pretty chintzy to me. First one is a borderline at best “hold” and the second one he pokes the puck and the guy steps on his stick and/or dives.

(putting on my Nostrodamus fake nose and glasses) I predict not many will last the entire game (me included) if Wings don’t show some energy soon.

Green creating the offside by not dumping puck in there…don’t want to pick on the guy, but with no Kronwall or Ericsson…who can we blame… confused

We just need him to be competent for a few months, so we can flip him for a draft pick to a desperate bubble team.

Imagine if when a GM moved on to a new team…(Holland)...he had to take his stinky signings with him….Let’s see how good McDavid is with Helm,Abby, Nielsen,Green, and Daly to play with. hmmm

I think this next 20 minutes could be an early indicator for the Wings and their season. I don’t expect them to win but at least make it a game.

Remember when they were just wee Wings and Abby and Helm were flying around the ice together and they were being called the new Drapes and Malts?  Then they were split up for about 23 years…

Nice to see the back together and showing some of that old chemistry.

Besides Larkin-Mantha-Bert…I believe Glendening has been our best player so far this season. He plays hard every shift… something others could learn from
