Am i having a wet dream ?

Since when luck is on our side ?

Great battle from a depleted lack of structure line-up. Z is getting better as confidence is growing in himself. The fact that brass have decided to keep him around could probably be the Reason for that. 3 points tonight …

Let’s not get carried away, we still look disorganized just about every where…but at least we won’t break the record for the longest winless streak in Red Wings history, i didnt want to witness that live saturday in Montreal..

This game was a pleasure to watch. I felt like we had some real hustle, as opposed to some of the other games we’ve played over the past month.

Hronek’s ENG at the end was a thing of absolute beauty, and a real cherry on top.

Ha.  Hronek asking around, “What happened?” on his ENG.

Awww, kiddo.  That was awesome.

Watched only the first period, team looked pretty solid. Forechecking was really good, heck Bert stood in front of their net making it hard to exit their own zone. This did not look like a Blashill coached team. Not going to get too excited because the puck was bouncing terribly that whole first period. Maybe that got Winnipeg off their game and Detroit is so bad it could only help.

Blashill on Hroneks goal:
“I wasn’t sure if it was going to stay in the building”

Actually pretty funny

Might be the most complete game, I’ve seen Wings play all year. Great job.

Offense was pretty fluky, but the defense had jump and made sure to have numbers pretty much all night.  Lots of physical play to wear down the opposition.

This will be the start to our St Louis-like comeback, Im sure of it.

I actually watched most of that game, despite having no intention to do so, two thoughts…

1) Luck be on our side, lots of changes on the Jets side that they normally bury and didn’t and we got good bounce. GOOD, cause they were all going the other way for a while, it was about time the water started to level out.

2) Fabbri led the squad.  Obviously he’s on the score sheet, but he was sticking his nose into everything last night, tossing his body around, doing some stick work on the sly, backchecking forchecking, just a real set the tone leadership effort.  I hope Pang can alert Yzerman to more players like this, and less players like Perlini who just doesn’t bring the level of compete needed at the NHL level.

Hope this takes a little unhealthy weight off everyone’s
shoulders and yeah it’s nice to hear Blashill crack a joke
after such a rough month. Not sure I’ve seen an empty net goal go in from behind the opposing net, let alone not touch the ice on the way in.

Easy to tell from Larkin’s froggy voice he’s fighting something.
Good leadership from him.

We know we’re in for a rough season and need the highest possible pick.

But we all needed a little relief and chance exhale and smile a little,
fans, players, and coach.

DET came out playing hard (albeit sloppy still) and for once they were rewarded with a couple good breaks, and that fueled them.
