After a slow start, the Red Wings’ power play has been steadily improving. Detroit has scored two power play goals in each of its last three games and in four of its last six. Over the first 11 games of the season, DET’s power play was 3-for-34 (8.8%) and ranked 29th in the NHL, but they’ve since gone 8-for-25 (32.0%) to improve to 18.6% this season, climbing up 12 spots over their last six games to 17th in the league.

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS at DETROIT RED WINGS

The Blackhawks are 279-354-84-10 in 727 all-time contests against the Detroit Red Wings.

Chicago has earned points in 12 consecutive meetings with Detroit, dating back to the start of the 2011-12 season.
