Tonight is a night which many of us remember as a night to go out and cause some harmless mischief or havoc. Ringing doorbells then running away as fast as you could, the old soaping of windows, or that bag full of something that was lit on fire and an unsuspecting neighbor would come out to stomp the flames, only to find out he had been fooled into stomping on something crappy.
The mood around here is that we are that neighbor, and, we have been tricked into stomping around some crappy hockey. No way to sugar coat it. Our record indicates that this start to the Season is that not much different than the last couple of Seasons point wise, but, it's the horrible play, lack of effort, and general unWing like confusion, that has the 19 in an earlier than usual panic.
Some have already call it a Coaching problem, and, are not happy with the new order, but, as much as I hate to make excuses, injuries have not made Blashill's job any easier. A turn around is going to happen, and, tonight would be as good a place as any to begin. The Wings have to make Mischief Night miserable for the Ottawa Senators, and, stomp the fire out of them, without stepping into anymore crap.
