Jeff here, filling in for Paul, who would normally fill in for the Master Chief. Wings have a chance to start a road winning streak, let’s blog it(!)

Charlie writes a musical… very funny… kinda like the Wings attempt at defense tonight.

Flip misses the open net. Wide open.
Sunny in Philadelphia discussion… very nice. Amazing show. I applied for a job at the bar, but my karate skills were far too intimidating for Mac to handle.

I tried to date Dee but she has some weird rule about not dating married guys. Go figure.

Ugh….can’t finish the good chances on the PP and straight to the PK of death.
Posted by Valek on 01/11/12 at 12:00 AM ET
That’s gotta be at least three shots that Fils should’ve finished.

Somebody get Kronner a ladder so he can retrieve his jock from the time clock. Jeebus he bit hard.

Almost another goal off a Wing player and here comes the PK
Posted by SolidTG7 on 01/11/12 at 12:00 AM ET
Aaaand there’s no call for a penalty shot on Buckets’ breakaway.
Posted by SYF from the Flood on 01/11/12 at 12:03 AM ET
Fuch the Ref too
No call as Helm drives the net.
Posted by Jeff OKWingnut from Quest for 12 on 01/11/12 at 12:03 AM ET
Come on, wings got penalty shots called against them for less than that.
Posted by Bent from The U.P. on 01/11/12 at 12:03 AM ET
I wants a penalty shot.

Great job by Ericsson to strip the puck away near the wide open side of the net and clear it out.
Excellent 2-0 chance SH by Cleary and Helm, but no finish. Don’t know if Helm was tripped, fanned, or stumbled on his massive dong, missing a prime chance on the rebound.

Sorry, Handsinpants is not officiating this one.

The Isles neutral zone work is a beauty. Every rush the Wings bring up the ice is met with resistance this third period. Every single rush.

Time to go to the stupid meeting… and I’m looking forward to it after this… this… whatever. Nite all.

G’nite all.
3 game homestand starts Thursday.

Even a drunken Larry Murphy noticed the cross-check on Helm to negate his scoring chance.

Cal, Sweet Dee is married to Mac anyway, in real life, but if she’d have a go it’d be wrth a try.

Commodore has 0:00 time played. I really don’t understand why Babcock won’t even rotate him in him every 3rd shift with Ericsson or something. That’s just stupid.

Commodore’s banged up apparently, plus Ericsson’s actually had a pretty solid game. Comparative to the rest of the suck on the team tonight, that is.

Holy fuch. Just look at that neutral zone work by the Isles. Grind, stuff, grind some more, sticks in the lane, grind again…

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
