H2H is over. The 19’s minds are hangover-riddled and have turned to applesauce. Meanwhile, at The Emperor’s house, 19 have gathered for some euchre by the grill.
It is no exaggeration to say that Herm2Hockeytown was the greatest thing to happen on the internet since Al Gore invented it and laid the pipes and tubes to make it work.
Herm is on his way home. I’ve just arrived to my home and many more of the 19 will be checking in to A2Y shortly to give their accounts of what was an absolutely epic night. Legendary night, in fact.
While known for their juvenile deliciousness, the 19 in person are pure class. 19 imaginary friends gathered and took over Joe Louis Arena. And one Brazilian bitch will never forget it.
Tonight, life rolls on. The Wings are facing Bubba in the heart of cousin-lovin’ country, Nashville.
Detroit have been outstanding since the Olympic break. While having a slow start last night, as soon as the tin-foil hats were donned, the Wings started scoring and the Wild were powerless to stop them.
Tonight’s game is good chance for the Red Wings to get themselves closer to a 6th or 7th seeding going into the playoffs. With Li’l Gary’s extra-point games abundant, it is very hard to gain ground in the standings. This game is the exception.
60 minutes of WINNING hockey. Nothing short of a skate to the throat will suffice.
While Bubba will kiss their cousins this summer, the Wings will be kissing the Stanley Cup.
Let’s Go Red Wings!!!!!

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: firstname.lastname@example.org
