Khan(!) Feeling The Heat

Nothing is more conducive to organizational success than a little internal competition.  And you, my friends, are the benefactors.  Obviously feeling that his Deep Digger Captain status is in jeopardy, Khan(!) is keeping pace with our man Bruce MacLeod this afternoon regarding Wing cheerleader Todd Stillwuzzi.

Bertuzzi out for Game 2
The Wings announced that Todd Bertuzzi will not play in Game 2 vs. Calgary Sunday and is day-to-day. After practicing Saturday, Bertuzzi (concussion, strained neck) said he is optimistic he’ll be ready for Game 3 in Calgary on Tuesday.

“I feel a lot better, whether a couple of days of practice would put me in a better position or not, we’ll have to decide after,’’ Bertuzzi said, before learning that he would not play. “It’s not ultimately my decision. I tell them how I feel and they base their decision on that.’’

Khan(!) also reports that Robin Regehr’s status for tomorrow will be determined at game time.

“I feel OK, better than the first day I stepped on the ice,’’ Regehr said

Really?  Deep.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: wphoulihan@gmail.com
