Jeff Blashill After Today's Practice

Blashill said Bernier, DeKeyser and Ericsson day to day with minor “tweaks.” The latter two won’t play next two games. Bernier might return Wednesday.
Blashill said Joe Hicketts has been the best of the young defensemen halfway through the preseason. Two spots open with Dennis Cholowski, Libor Sulak and Filip Hronek also competing for jobs.

blashill said he has NO PROBLEM starting season with two prospects of seven D-men, but they gotta prove worth in preseason to get the jobs.
