Huron’s Rolling, Superior’s Singing and The Musty Old Hall Is Chock Full

I don't have much.  Detroit's made two huge offseason signings over the last two years.  Our GM, aggressive because he knows a title is within reach and always looking for ways to make his owner and his fan base happy, has refused to acknowledge parity as an option.  Refused.

Detroit's GM is a swashbuckler.  He gobbles opportunities. He's fearless. And he's being rewarded...

Hunter's hitting .415 and Fielder? .439.

Yes, that GM.

And Kyle Quincey sits.

Too morose? Blame Ken Holland.  I'll be watching the Tigers until game time.

It's a Live Blog, bitches.  LGRW.  Just get in (how's that sound, Tick Tock? Is that the refrain you like to hear from Wing fans with the playoffs two weeks away?).

I hate using the logic that the Wings are back in 8th, or tied for 7th, although that is traditionally done in hockey.  Based on the Games Played clock we’re just in limbo until equal number of games have been played, then you can determine who is ahead.

Points percentage.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: wphoulihan@gmail.com
