Okie was on the money yesterday when he got the Aerosmith/Stress Train reference three minutes after the Live Blog posted. He was right again this morning when he pointed out that three games in four days means all the glad could very well be turned to sadness so very soon.
We are in for so much trouble today. The Defending Stanley Cup Champions are in town and the horror is too thick to type about. The Wings are tired, so very tired. Gary's made them play so much hockey in such a short period of time and now we get The Champs. JFC. RSV.
Winning this game is just too much to ask. RWBill wants to know how much PK/PP energy our two leaders expended yesterday?
7:33 of special minutes for Datsyuk, 7:29 for Zetterman. Tired, tired, tired.
The Champions haven't played since Thursday. It's too much to ask. Too tall an order. Our boys are exhausted, tuckered out, the strain is too much and the train is full of drunkards, worried and unclean. The imperfect storm has finally arrived. God help us all.

I doubt Calquake will get back from Biker Breakfast at Neptune’s Net out in Ventura on the PCH in time for the game.
What am I talking about? Calquake won’t roll out of bed by game time?

I won’t be in the LB today. I’m going to watch the first period, then tape the rest to watch later. Going to check out a women’s lacrosse game at the local college.

Missed the LB Saturday. Was in Houghton looking at all the sculptures done by the Michigan Tech students. There was a campus wide party the night before, so some of the sculptures were slightly trashed, and the temperatures were 38 so snow/ice melt was to be seen everywhere. The ice bar and speaker stands were all made out of ice/snow. Must have been some party.
And since we were so close, and the wife had never been we went to the edge of the earth and drove to the end of U.S. 41 kinda neat seeing the road just end and a turn around on a U.S. highway.
Listened to the game on XM so it was all good. Now comes the second half of a back to back. Is it too much to hope for a win?

Train kept a rollin was a blues song from the 40s or 50s. I forget who did it originally. Almost all the best rock songs were originally blues songs.
