Got Sources?

Oh, the stress.  Counting down the hours until the Wings and the hated Jackets renew their savage hostilities tonite in Nationwide.

Meanwhile, he who charges idiots to read outlandish trade rumours is at it again.  Failed “musician” and icon of the idiots Dwayne Klessel claims he has “sources” in the Wing organ-I-zation.  These “sources” are feeding him amazing info.

Anyway, according to a source in Detroit, the Wings have interest in Mike Comrie or Shane Doan.

Really?  Let me confirm that late-breaker for you.  Yes, the Wings have interest in Doan.  There’s your source, ya frigging clown.  I’ll give you another juicy one.  The Wings also have interest in, ummm, Alexander Ovechkin.  Yep. We’re interested.  And I just heard Wing fans are interested in lower ticket prices, as well as free blocks of cheddar cheese.  Well, that’s just for me.

Oh, and Dwayne also has this to share.

There is also talk that the Rangers have interest in Datsyuk. More later.

More later folks.  Stay tuned.  More later.

Is there a team less likely to let trade talk loose than the Wings?  When’s the last time you heard a hint of any movement before Holland made a trade or signed a UFA?  You don’t.  Anyone who claims to have “sources” inside the Wing organ-I-zation is, frankly, full of Klessel.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
