Get Used To It

If you really need evidence that the playoffs suck?  All you have to do is watch the rest of this series.  Every game is going to be exactly like that one was. Every. Single. Game.

And for those of you who participated in the Live Blog? Good on ya. You’re better men (and women) than I.  I paced the entire game.

A few things:

Mike Brown?  If we see him at any point the rest of this series then Little Gary’s a hypocrite and a liar.  How was Brown’s hit any different than Brashear’s?  Amazing that it took less than fifteen minutes for the Poultry to show what absolute scum they are.

Somebody in one of the posts below said something after it was announced that Rafalski was out:  “Lidstrom has to score and register at least one assist.”

Done and one.  The Captain was phenomenal tonite. I don’t know what his time on ice was and I don’t know if I spelled phenomenal correctly but he was awesome.

Eleven more years of Franzen? I’ll take it.

Amazingly stressful game.  Stunningly stressful.  How any of us live through these things is beyond me.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: wphoulihan@gmail.com
