GDT - WCSF Game 2: Red Wings (0-1) at Hawks (1-0) 1:00

Matinee tilt today boys and girls.  Captain Obvious, reiterating his comment from the LB:  "Color me pessimistic, but after the 1st period, I kinda thought DET got taken to the woodshed.  But for Jimmy, it’d been a whole lot worse."

Seems I'm not the only to notice that fact:  Babcock said it boils down to this: His team didn't skate.  “If you don't skate better, you have no chance,'' he said.  “We were very poor, we didn't execute at all, we didn't skate, so we're all spread out. There was no one for the D to pass to. We didn't play fast. We played fine in the first 20 minutes, after that we got skated into the ice.''

We’re in it to win it. What are our chances? As good as any. They are the chances/decisions/plays made on the ice.

Thanks OKie.

Forward, Bitches.

Thanks very much, Okie!

I believe.  Of course I saw the same thing Captain Obvious and everyone else did.  But the Wings had just come off a grueling series and grueling travel. They lost Game 1 in Anaheim and that turned out just fine.  They were toe to toe with the Squawks in the first period and Jimmah was a stud.  The team will do better.

I believe!  Wings win today.

LET’S GO RED WINGS !!!!!

Ain’t that the truth, brother.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a shout-out to our Armed Forces personnel.  Forever grateful for all of our men and women serving and to all who have passed away.

Jeebus, sounds like newbs officiating.  Yep, they’re gonna be solidly intimidated by douches at the United Center.
