GDT - Game 22: Red Wings (10-8-3) host ‘Hawks (18-0-3) 12:30

Matinee tilt; the undefeated, obscenely good, 'Hawks steam-roll into JLA.  The 'Hawks win because they score, 3.14 G/G (4), and give up nothing, a league-leading 1.76 GA/G.

After the west-coast swing, Uncle Mike has commented how he really likes his team.  We will all find out just how good DET are today.

A great way to kick-off Sunday, but for the fact that Edzo "it hit a patch of ice" will be doing the game.

Bonjour. Today’s opponent is a carbon copy of the way we were. They are Scotty’s team, no matter who is behind the bench. We all have been witness to the Quinville method of coaching, and, I firmly believe Bowman is the puppet master pulling the strings. Now can Babcock out coach Bowman?  He spent enough time learning from him. I’ll just say that Uncle Mike really likes our team.

Thanks OKie.

Bitches.

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!

2 points would make my day, don’t care how we get’em either. Just win baby.
And the early start dictates cracking one before noon.

At my house, the early start dictates cracking one NOW. And I think we will beat the Cawks today.

Somebody is gonna beat them, might as well be us.

Thanks Okie - I’m sure the guys are itching at the chance to be the ones to end this streak. It’s impressive for sure, but let’s see them try and win 23-in-a-row at home.

F the Cawks.  I agree, Bowman was the puppetmaster here and hes absolutely put his mark on that Chicago team.

By KH’s account the Blackcocks mortgaged their future for a cup and were forced to gut their team.  No way they can possibly do anything in the post-season.

Not with this team…..even if he likes his group, Bowman would also have problems…especially since we are facing the “former” us…..boy…has time changed….

thanks, Okie.

as I see the game ...

right now the score is 0-0 with 60 minutes of regulation to play;
the odds are 50-50: we either win or we don’t, (it’s why they play the game).

me thinks we get the 2 points today and end this ‘unbeaten’ stuff .

Hot dogs are out! We jackin it up 4 notches in here today! Homemade 7 lb. tray of from scratch 19 wet burritos swimmin’ in all the trimmin’s. We will smoke ‘em our version of the peace pipe and enjoy ourselves.

If you think you’ve seen Edzo’s anti-Wings bias before today, you are mistaken. He will felate the Hawks every thirty seconds during today’s game. He will mention Detroit’s “subtle interference” seven times. Over/under on what time he will first mention it: 6:22 into period one.

Wings win this game, bitches.

“Tootoo plays on the edge, some might even call it dirty”

“Marian Hossa loves playing in Chicago”
