And Then There Was One…Live Blog Our Last Best Chance For A Title

Looking back to October we had two teams with legitimate title hopes (the Wings, of course, and the Tigers), another giving us plenty of reason to be optimistic and one more that I was actually hoping would stay locked out forever.

Down went the Tigers.  Drew Brees and a Detroit secondary with the hands of William Tell finished off the Lions today.  The Pistons are back and none of you care, which makes you good Americans.

So, as it should be, that leaves the Wings.

And tonite’s matchup is relevant because one way or another it’s gonna happen again in May.  Before the midget shrew hands over the Twelfth at the Joe in front of 20K plus 19 and the sad Pens, the manger baby’s Wings will have to get by baby brother. And that’s gonna be some series, sister.

So the preview part two continues this evening and for some reason Jim Fuching Howard played last night, pushing the Conk into a tight spot tonite.

And you can take that in any direction you want.

It’s a Live Blog, bitches.

Milbury is having a full-tilt Dangle worship service for the last 5 minutes.

“Clever, quick, and highly intelligent”.

And I finally agree with Milbury on something.

Corporate interest of NHL / most corporations, not love of humanity, but love of profit. The NHL values money over players and people. Fans are just their currency. Sorry for the oddity, love the Wings they are like family to me.

Well stated. Trust me, the 19 share this common belief.

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!

Anybody else see Franzen just LEVEL Montador after he got back on his feet?  WHat a one puncher!!  Montador was holding him down and sucker punched his two or three times.  After he got off Franzen, Mule got up and just f*cking drilled him knocking him on his *ss.

I had a Mickey chuckle.  And then I giggled like a Japanese schoolgirl.

Watch the replay of the scrum in front of the net on the winning goal…..montador has his arm around the waist of mule…takes him down and then gives mule a shot to head ....no wonder mule gave montador a knockout shot when he got back up.

Takes a special kind of whiner to complain about a too many men missed penalty in a game which your team gets all the power plays save 1, a missed penalty shot against and a penalty shot for.

You expect me to believe there wasn’t a hook or interference missed?

Of all the things to bitch about when he spent more time fondling Cawks balls?

Aloha bitches.  Once again, I followed the game—somehow—via your comments. You’ll be seeing this one again…

I giggled like a Japanese schoolgirl.

If anyone has a Youtube clip of EdZo whining like a fuching bitch, please email the link to me so I can give it the attention it deserves.

Great win Wings.  12 in ‘12.

listening to Paul Woods on radio postgame, and he says mule was given a penalty for that one punch knockout at the end… The awful officiating doesn’t end even when the game has.

Clicky.

Youtube user, paustn31634, has just posted the final minutes of OT.

All the evidence you need of the douchebag fuchwit that is $0.20 is there for all the world to see.

And Montador’s face got in the way of Mule’s gigantic hams for fists.

They can give him as many penalties as they want after the game, Montador will think twice next time.

Holy shit at the goal video, Toews dumped Datsyuk without even being close to the puck, and not a single word from the announcers, though they did say about the Zata interference.

Also, love seeing the Mule punch people, he needs to use his grit way more.

I like how Toews wiped out Pavel on that rush up the ice and all Doc could say was ‘someone shaken up there’

Word.  The officiating was a complete suckfest.  They “missed” Seabrook’s hand on the puck in Crawford’s crease (oh, they saw it clear as day; they just didn’t give a shit) but they’ll call Homer’s puck push into Conks pad as exactly what they missed on Seabrook’s blatant infraction waaay back in the first period.

I take back everything nice I’ve ever said about Tomas Vokoun.  The guy’s a friggin’ sieve.  He doesn’t know how to close his five-hole and Jimmy and Conk have better technique and don’t make the kind of dumbo mistakes as Vokoun.  The Kings are making a mincemeat out of Vokoun.

I now no longer want Vokoun on my Wings team.

And Panthers simply out-worked the ‘Nucks for all of the loose pucks in their 2-1 win over Luo and the Sedin sisters.  Brilliant goaltending by Clemmensen of the Panthers just kept getting bigger and bigger in the ‘Nucks heads.
