A Culture of Losing

11/08/2019 at 7:15pm EST

Since the Blashill era has begun the Wings have developed a culture of losing. With an understanding that the organization is in a rebuild, we don't expect miracles. We do expect effort and respect for the fans that show up. That has not happened this season. We keep hearing words like "process" or "compete level" and they seem to be meaningless to the players that may have tuned the coaches out. One thing is for sure, the more you lose the easier it becomes, and at some point changes need to be made. Sooner rather than later I'm thinking. Something's gotta give, or, there won't be many/any fans left who care....

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
