I remember how downtrodden the NBC stooges sounded because golden boy didn’t get the cup. They were much more upbeat in 2009. It’s sad how far from this the Wings have strayed. Hopefully they get back in it sooner than later.

If you closed your eyes and didn’t know what you were watching, you might have a hard time figuring out who the Penguins were even playing. You could almost hear Doc and Olczyk jumping around and high-five-ing each other when the Pens scored. How little has changed in 20 years.
