Just go ahead and let it fly. The vomit. Don't be embarrassed. We'll laugh, because watching adults throw up is funny. But we'll be spewing vomitus at the same time, which will ramp up the hilarity to a redolent degree.
Mikael Samuelsson is on the PP point. Tatar is the "big net front presence". Dan Cleary on the first unit.
The Wings have lost three in a row. Half the team remains hurt. Tick Tock is in a slumber of self-denial, with no moves in sight.
And Detroit sits in 9th place. Gary's playoffs start next week after a 22 game season.
Ready, set, vomit.
Oh, and you know those inbred ruhtards will be blowing those stupid whistles because half of them literally believe Tootoo is still a Predator.
The prospects aren't even dim. They're dimmer than dim. They're dank and dark like the alley Jiri Hudler used to fester in waiting for 6 dollar hookers.
Those were the good old days there, boy.
No chance in Gary's kitchen of hell that the Wings win this thing tonite.
Tatar with one, Wally with one. James Tiberius MF Howard with a shutout because we damned well need it. Wings win 2-0.
It's a Live Blog, bitches.

I can’t really complain about the team’s performance. As always seems to happen in that building, the guys in stripes make damn sure that Trashville gets plenty of early momentum and those two goals in the first five minutes, which were largely the result of the the stripes setting the tone, end up making all the difference. The better team did not win tonight.

I just had a realization…watching the Wings this year is alot like being that guy from The Crying Game…just when you think you’re about to get it on with a hot chick you find…something….

And. Another shitty line change. One is better than none.
God I hate Kevin Weeks. Gets downright giddy whenever the Wings lose. Needs to die in a fire.
Won’t be here Thursday because I have a game of my own to play.Be good 19.

A for effort.
A for resiliency.
C for execution.

I will say this, no one should question the desire and effort from the team last night, right through the end. That starts with Z and Datsyuk who both showed they will put the team on their back and carry them if they have to.
Now Jimmy out, so Gustav and who, Mrazek, are our goalies. Wonderful. Maybe they will pull together and dedicate every shift as if the season depends on it like they did mostly last night, because it really does.
And I swear, Abdelkader is going to start getting some so he can get some. Right on the doorstep again last night several times, including Datsyuk’s amazing end to end goal where it looked like Justin would chop off Rinne’s hand with his blade if he had to. Keep up the effort Justin and I will ensure you are rewarded, even if I have to do it myself.

Who?
“I thought we could have executed better right off the hop,’’ Babcock said. “In saying that, we did a lot of real good things, and I’m sure not disappointed in our effort at all.
“I thought we had a couple of guys who weren’t prepared to play, and that doesn’t make you happy.”

Filllpoooollllaaa
And that sucks, because I really wanted him to succeed as a Wing. But his inconsistency cannot be ignored anymore.
Was last year his peak year in the NHL? If so, say hello to another awesomely- talented player with unrealized potential.

Aye. Wings really need another evil, goal-scoring bastard.

I don’t know SYF - - it seems to me its the turnovers that are killing this team. Too much of the game being played in the DET end. Turnovers and failed clearing attempts.
DET desperately need a #1 or #2 “D” man. Dude who can play 22 minutes of rock solid “D” - make a decent outlet pass, and maybe pitch in a goal or ten.

And then we re-sign to a two year contract when he hits 35 years old and wants to come someplace to run out the clock.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
