Standin’ On The Corner At Midnight?  We’ll Still Have About Ten Minutes Left

And that’s thanks to you Gary, you little elf.

Hey.  This comment hit close to home.  I felt like, well, I felt like I could have written it myself.

Dougie

Again, I sit in absolute amazement of the 19, and your analytical prowess.

I’m a lazy man. Thinking about salary caps makes my head hurt, and all the ginormous roster possibilities going forward makes me not want to get out of bed for days. You guys (and gals) do all the thinking for me. I read it all, and came to this conclusion-

It is GOOD to be a fan of the Detroit Red Wings. Our “problems” are the envy of the league.
It is GOOD to have Ken Holland as our GM. Brian Burke wouldn’t make a pimple on his ass.

That is all I need to know, and all I need to think aboot is how much I am going to drink on a work night with a West Coast road trip.

Exactly. All I had to do today was post a two paragraph regurgitation of the Diggers and away you guys went.  Outstanding.

And now?  Well, after you name the Seger classic it’s time for a Live Blog, eh bitches?

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: wphoulihan@gmail.com
