If Blashill ever found an effective way to motivate a young player, I’m pretty sure it would be by complete accident.

Athanasiou-Nielsen-Fabbri
Perlini-Nielsen-Erne
Assuming that’s Athanasiou-Filpulla- Fabbri
Should be an interesting line.
Bowey-Green
Sweet Jesus, might as well open the stat sheet right now and hang a -2 next to that pair. What else is blash gonna due, its like he’s got a bunch of great choice, aye…

Might be time for Hirose to go down to GR to fine tune his game, bring up someone else like a Kuffner even if just to practice. He needs to produce or he’s useless in this lineup, and after being a solid contributor early on, he’s been very pedestrian of late. I completely understand he’s not a crash and bang guy, but he doesn’t play the body at all, like not in any way, he actually avoids contact where he should at least do so to impede his guys progress.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Hirose isn’t from a lack of compete level, he always seems to be hustling.
