No matter how we play or what we do, we cannot beat this Tampa team, but great effort, fun game and our team is becoming so easy to root for these days, they are playing with great heart.

we were having a good game before Howard decided to play Santa Claus before his time ! On the first goal he had alll the time in the world to clear the puck aways from Johnson, but when he reacted..like a day too late !, it was probably the worst moment to try the poke check. It ignited the Bolts.

On the second goal i cannot believe he went behind the net and blindly tried to pass the puck behind himself…to nobody…except a coupld of white jerseys. And then when the puck was in front of the goal he froze, instead of trying a last attempt, like dislodging the goal, or jump in front…do Something ! no..he froze stiff !

After that Howard was never comfortable, mentally disturbed, i would have yanked him after two periods.

Overall it was a turnover contest, on both side. The ice surface was very bad, puck bouncing around all the time, no way to complete a hard pass.

On the last minutes of the game and on the PP up by a goal no way should Frk be on the ice on the point. We Don’t need another goal, we need defense. Dumb mistake by Blashill, even though Frk was not responsible for the SH goal, Green didnt particularly play well on the play.

Anyway its a point, i Don’t think we deserve that point but we’ll take it, with Dominque in goal we don’t score 5 goals.

I agree about the first two goals. Howie is to blame on both.

This was such a winnable game. Tampa had nothing going their way until those two gifts from Howard. He might have great stats this year, but I’ve never liked the way he competes. Gives up far too easily on plays and seems to wilt under pressure.

On Joseph’s 2nd goal, you can hear one of the dmen yelling Howie, not sure if it was Green or the other guy, but Howard seemed slow to react to whoever was yelling for the puck.

Maybe a miscommunication error, but don’t make that blind, backhand pass unless you are 100% sure of it.

Jimmy is the obvious blame for his play but he should of been pulled after the third goal. That goes on blashill so does this lose.

A rookie coach would have pulled him.

Sadly true, and it cost him a regulation win. smirk
