Abel to Yzerman

The only good thing to come out of last night, for me, is that I didn't have to witness it. I've read the game reports this morning, considered the irony of my consistent defense of "old school" hockey and the hit on Jason Williams of two weeks ago, and decided to devote my efforts today to eating as much as possible.
In other words, I'll have some thoughts on last night's game, the hit on Franzen and the effects of both on the team, later tonite or tomorrow.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, and please keep in mind those who have volunteered to spend theirs in dangerous places.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that. Your suggestions and critiques are welcome: email@example.com
