Abel to Yzerman

Oh Good…Boston

I really had no idea who the Wings were playing today. I assumed they were, but I've been distracted. I can't devote my energies to three teams at once and yesterday it was the Lions and then, the unspeakable obscenity.

So, when I woke up I checked and vomited.

Ok. This would be a nice win today. I hope the Wings play well.

But last night. JFC.  It all mixes together.  Scherzer pitched great then Osgood let one in from fifty then Smyly walked a guy and Talbot scored then Benoit came in and Legace was laying prone like a fat suicidal hooker and then Ortiz came up and Seabrook crossed the blue line.

So there's that.

It's a Live Blog bitches.

If my eyes didn’t deceive me, I saw Franzen out “race” a defenseman for the puck that resulted in a Red Wings goal.

It could just be the bloody Mary talking, though.

An insurmountable late-game lead in Boston.  That always works out.

Daren Eliot boldly predicting the Boston strategy—apparently the plan is for them to try to start a fight.  That’s fuchin’ brilliant!

Per Boston’s feed, the Bruins have had the puck in Detroit’s zone 4.5 minutes longer than Detroit’s had it in Boston’s zone.

Alas, I can only rely on the radio but apparently he out muscled a Bruins player on the puck.

Back for a few.  Missed Weiss’ goal, heard Cleary’s though.  Found a feed for The Ticket on my TuneIn Radio Pro app on my phone, so I could listen to Kal-Woods..

Have maybe 15-20 min. before I have to run to get the 3 year-old from Head Start.

LGRW.

That’s who they are. That’s what they do.

Wings are gonna need to find at least one power forward in the mold of Shanahan. I have no idea where, but it has to be, in order to compete in the East. Or anywhere for that matter.

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!
