Stupid move on my part yesterday. I introduced one JB, then concluded with another JB and in the process pretty much guaranteed a shutout at the hands of some BJs.
Yesterday reminded us that (a) the Wings are not ripe with talent so grit is kinda required these days, and (b) we are in for a long stress-filled journey the next two months if Detroit can't beat Columbus in Columbus. Because if the Wings can't win there, they're not going to win in Anaheim, Chicago, San Jose or practically any other town. There's also this (c): the Wings powerplay is disgusting. Not just on the road. Overall. It's obscenely inept.
But of course, since they're at home, playing the same team that whipped them yesterday, with almost the identical lineup Detroit iced in shitbag Columbus 24 hours ago...they'll go like 4 for 7 with the man up and win 8-1. Because Howard means that much, right?
Wrong, bitch. Wrong. Uncle Mike?
If the powerplay isn't working, that's on you. Not Tom Renney or any assistant before him we saw fit to lay waste to. No. You might have delegated a few things but when it sucks it's on you. And if a team can't win on the road, in Columbus? That's on you, too. And if a team loses a season series to...Columbus?
That's you too, big boy.
But we still dig you, Mike. We do. It's just getting harder to type it.
It's a Live Blog, bitches. No songs. No gimmicks. No predictions. Just a steamroller full of tar, warm beer, some out of date cheddar and an ass-ton of stress.

Watching the Wings this season is like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
I’ve zero confidence DET can even go .500 on the road.
