Home Is Where The Laughter Is: C’mon In Shane

First, Terry Foster is sad because the Pistons are drawing Dive-like numbers at the Palace. Me? I couldn’t be happier that (a) Foster isn’t writing about the Wings because he’s garbage and (2) that Detroit sports fans are ignoring that sport and that team. It’s a win-win-win.
Secondly, Shane Doan visits the Joe tonite and watching him get beaten is just plain fun for the while fam damily.
As Okie pointed out this morning, Hockeytown’s Favorite Carrier is back where baby Jesus needs us most and that’s just nifty. It’s almost 8:30pm as I post this and I think that means a 0430 start time for me. I may oversleep it again and that’s just fine because missing the last game may have been the greatest thing in the history of my life (Rocky II).
It’s a Live Blog bitches. Enjoy it.

Enough with the odd man breaks….geez. Is anyone communicating out there?

The only goalie who would’ve stopped that would’ve been Garth Snow with those crazy shoulder pads.

Might be Olcsux’s.

Detroit’s lack of PP’s is getting ridiculous. The coyotes were hooking and holding like crazy during the Wings surge in the first 5 mins. No a single call…

Dangles needs finish.
Fil was on the ice with him at one point on a partial change and got a scoring chance too.

No no, that’s “creating a playoff atmosphere”

I just figured out Pavels biggest weakness. Not a single person on the ice is as good as he is. What a burden to carry.

It may just be me being crazy, but do the wings look like they’re playing a bit differently tonight? I cant quite put my finger on what it is, but despite being down a goal, I like it.
Also: Evenin everyone.

It’s the “Hockeytown” logo at center ice.

An anti-sphincter goal… go figure. And good evening reprobates.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
