GDT - WCQF Game 7: Red Wings (3-3) at Ducks (3-3) 10:00

Sometime during this series, I'm almost positive I read or heard Uncle Mike say something to the effect of; the longer this series goes, the better he likes the Wings chances to prevail - - he got his wish then.  Game 7, for all the marbles.  The Wings are either going to Chicago, or going golfing.

The big boys carried the water in Game 6, and that is all well and good; but there can be no passengers tonight.  Even more importantly, we have to hear some names for something other than atrocious gaffes (yes, Wally that'd be you).

Fair Warning, Rumbear and Capt D will represent the 19 tonight at the Honda Center.  It's all over but the shouting, the Wings have come to take what's theirs.

Good morning, Okie!

I have the same optimistic feeling I had before Game 6.  For the love of Helm and Jesus Lashoff, though, grab an early lead and HANG ON TO IT!

The 19 will be well represented in the Duck Pond.  Have fun, Rumbear and Captain!

As I said yesterday under the Chief’s epic post, what I want most in the world right now is:

Shut ‘em up, Wings.

Nothing matters but tonight.

LET’S GO RED WINGS !!!!!

Here’s hoping Zetterberg, The Magic Man and Jimmah can have another great game. And how about our very own “Playoff Beast” Johan Franzen? Maybe he’ll decide to show up too. Fuch Flip! He’s beyond hope.

Go Wings!

I chose not to get up at 3am to turkey hunt so I could make it through the game.
Guess the Poultry killin’ needs to be done by the Wings.

It’s a long wait until Game 7.  This Red Wings Team has excelled at being unpredictable, and, beating the odds.

Anything is possible. One more win. Tonite.

Thanks OKie.

Bitches.

Stupid, stupid NHL. I won’t complain about the start time because hey, I’m an intruder.

But you guys having to stay up ‘till 1am on a Sunday? That’s idiotic.

If Filpulla.  If Franzen.  If, by Helm, Brunner.

Franzen’s three goals in this series have all been scored in Anaheim and while on the Power Play. Feed the Mule!!!

I like turtles, I hate ducks. Mule needs to score, Perry needs to suck.

Thanks Okie!

7th game against the #2 team in the conference. Who knew?  A 50-50 game…who wants it? Ya may not want to bet on the Wings, but history has demonstrated, you don’t want to bet against them.

I like this team.  Wings in 7, yes indeed.
