GDT - WCQF Game 3: Red Wings (1-1) at Ducks (1-1) 7:30

Lashoff taking DeKeyser's spot:  "He's smart, knows how to play and competes hard,'' Babcock said of Lashoff. "He makes a good first pass and he's a good penalty killer."  (Gee, wonder what Bab's thinks of White and Cocoa?)

Hiller in net for the Ducks tonight.

After that roller-coaster of a tilt Thursday night, it'll be interesting to see if the kids are alright tonight.

After taking home-ice in ANA, the Wings have got to defend it now - - avoiding the chinese fire drill in their own end would certainly help.  LGRW.

Top ‘o’ the morning bitches. Nothing like mid 30s in the KC area in May. Hell we got snow this week… strange times.
The kiddo and I are poultry hunting this morning, hope the boys in red and white do the same later.

Good luck. I should be going out too but forgot my boomstick up north at the cottage so it looks like the only thing I’ll be hunting is morels.

Go Wings! Gobble gobble

My hopes dimmed a bit when I heard we lost DeKeyser. Now I want some revenge, and what better way than to beat those Yucks twice at home. GO WINGS!

Thanks Okie, always nice to wake up to a GDT.  Kind of nervously excited about the game.  Does anyone know if Bert is in, or is it Tootoo.  I’d actually really like to see them both in, but then who do you sit?  Probably a real good thing I’m not the coach…

thanks, Okie.

having Danny DeKeyser out hurts (gives me a stomach ache ... );

but back home (that’s a plus, right? right?),
Bert-Uzi back (in tonight?),
Lashoff getting his chance (he’ll be excited, lots of energy ... all positive, right? right?),
Jimmy looking sharp (the third period last game was just a ... “minor let-up”, right?)
flip & buckets on a roll, making plays like the the game winner happen ...
B-Runner buzzing, Mule scoring, Z & Pasha leading the effort, Nike our latest hero, ...
Big Rig playing solid, Anderson a plus, Smith a ... good player ... learning ...
Emmerton reliable, Patty steady, Q & Kindl ... playing, TooToo ... not (?),
... everyone healthy ... ‘cept maybe Kronner (?) ... and Abbydabbydoo (?) ...
...

i really like our team.

There it is.  Thanks for the GDT, Jeff.  I was having Red Wings withdrawal.  It wasn’t pretty.

(Gee, wonder what Bab’s thinks of White and Cocoa?)

[shnarkyrofl]

I have to get this off my chest:  it sucks that 65DD is out.  I have mounds of despair he’s not playing.  He’s not a bust in pressure situations.  The twin orbs of the Wings PP and PK?  Absolutely bountiful cans of talent.

What were we talking about?

Referees:
Chris Rooney-5
Steve Kozari-40

Linesmen:
Shane Heyer-55
Don Henderson-91

Continuing the mojo, I will not be present for the LB tonight, 19.  Will be in the casino to watch the DuhUcks turn into flambe.

LGRW.
