It's not too much to ask for a sixty minute effort. Is it? Seems like old habits are hard to break and this has been going on for at least a couple of seasons. Specifically in the last ten minutes of the third period. Then we hear things like, "it's part of the process" or "maturation"or "we let this one slip away".

Well, excuses are for losers and apparently the Wings seem to think that on some level, it's acceptable to be satisfied with one point here and there, coupled with the occasional win.

News flash, this mindset is not going to get the Wings into the post season. On any given night any Team in our division is nipping at our heels and the Wings have to put some distance between us and our rivals. It's not like we haven't had our chances. That is what is so frustrating. Plus, this topic is getting old.

Wing's Fans everywhere are getting sick of excuses. Some may think this is a hard line to take, but, there at least 19 of us that know all to well that excuses are for losers.
