Dong Returns, Minus Stiffness

01/13/2018 at 11:59am EST

Before Tiberius went down with what we now believe was "minor knee stiffness", he was on fire.

The Diggers tell us he'll be back today, in Pittsburgh, facing off against Tristan Jarry.

The Wings always, and I mean always, do really well against unknown, unproven, goaltenders.

According to A2Y interns working out of the Northwood lab today, the Red Wings have lost their last 36 consecutive games facing a goalie less than 19 people had heard of prior to the puck drop on that particular day.

So, we've go that going for us...(finish that, please).

It's a 1300 start and the Wings sit 7 points behind Original 28 stalwart Carolina for the final Wild Card spot.

It's a Saturday and a 3 day weekend for most of us. So, you know, do what you must.

It's a Live Blog, bitches.

LGRW and FKHASAP.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
