Chris Osgood On Steve Yzerman Returning To The Wings

from Will Burchfield of 97.1 The Ticket,

When Steve Yzerman stepped down as general manger of the Lightning prior to the start of this season, Red Wings fans immediately connected the dots. The Captain was coming home.

Yzerman's former teammate Chris Osgood has drawn the same conclusion -- it's only a matter of time before Yzerman becomes GM of the Wings.

"Me guessing? Yeah, I think it’s inevitable that at some point in time he will be here. It just has to be the right moment. That’s kind of how I feel," Osgood told the Jamie and Stoney Show on 97.1 The Ticket, while clarifying he hasn't spoken with Yzerman since he changed roles with the Lightning.

Good read Paul, thanks for posting.

BTW here is Sartre’s THE WALL in PDF. I have it in a short story book and seems a little different here, but still a good read. Amazing anyone could fill that much emotion in a few pages:

And Back to Hockey….

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
