As the Emperor posted a bit ago...realignment's a reality. Hopefully, that means Gary's been beaten down enough to give his dwarf consent to let the Wings head back East where we/they belong.
We like you Edmonton, and we like you Calgary. We dig you Vancouver and Anaheim you'll always be garbage...but it's time to say sayonara.
The Oil at home tonite and we'd really like to say we won't see this again with any consistency for some time to come. They're young, good, fast and they live way farther left than our boys ever need to travel.
Ian White is sitting because he is, much like Gary, small in stature. He's been sitting for a while and he's upset. We get it. But the D's improved since the little man sat down.

And the difference between 53 and 54 pts is also 22%. I guess the crazier thing to me is, that if you have 52 pts you have less than a 50% chance of making the playoffs and at 54 pts, you have a 90% chance.

Western Conference
Pacific Division: Anaheim, Calgary, Edmonton, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Jose and Vancouver.
Mid-West Division: Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota, Nashville, St. Louis and Winnipeg.
Eastern Conference
Central Division: Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Toronto.
Atlantic Division: Carolina, Columbus, New Jersey, N.Y. Islanders, N.Y. Rangers, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington.

I think CalQuake, Rumbear, Hippie Dave, Surfer Ken, Mr. Fluffy, Gabriel, and possibly WestWing are the only ones unhappy with realignment.
I won’t mind so much if they play the WC in a home-and-home each year. It’s a BS plan if they only make the trip every other year.

As long as I’m in Virginia I want them to be in the same division as the Caps. If/when I leave I want to never hear another mention of the Caps ever again.

I was looking at RWBill’s A2Y map and we seem to have lost a lot of old timers.
I haven’t seen any posts from Gabriel, Surfer Ken, StayoutaMalibu, AndrewFromAnnAbor, or WFinBL, among others, in a long time.
