Thanks, RedM.  Slainte to the GDT.  It’ll do.

I seem to be having some technical difficulties with the GDT… so… um, here’s a dancing bunny!

40-Steve Kozari
5-Chris Rooney

92-Mark Shewcyk
59-Steve Barton

So yeah, the officiating is gonna be about a C-minus average tonight.  Holy hell…

Bruins have locked up the Atlantic and home-ice for the playoffs.  What could they possibly be playing for?

Our.Two.Points.  Earn ‘em, Wings.

Looking at the standings, I can’t help but feel that 91 pts will be the cutoff for the wings to make it in for sure, though 90 pts will likely be adequate.  Getting in with 89-88 pts is possible, but less likely.

Max pts assuming winning all remaining games
wings 98, jackets 97, caps 93, leafs 92, devils 92, ottawa 92

While it is most assuredly possible, i doubt any of the teams listed will win the rest of their games season.

So 3-4, 2-3-2, 1-2-4.

Detroit is hardly guaranteed a spot, but given their current position it really is theirs to lose.

To further help Detroit’s case hopefully the Caps/Devils game ends in regulation.
